The raven interface is a half serious, half joke project, I'm working on. It's truly something on the back burner. It started one day when I was feeling a bit lazy and choose to watch Teen Titan's all day. During this marathon of slithery there was a particular interesting, Raven heavy, three part story arch, called "The End". Raven being the entire reason I watch the show, and maybe the only reason I wake up in the morning, intrigued me to write a piece of software. In my mind I started to construct the idea of using the computer, as Raven uses her power. Imagine with a zen like calm and a wave of the hand of using the computer.

The Technology: I decided to start writing the code in processing.org, since I knew of no other 2d or 3d environments I could quickly get a working prototype of this. Processing already has an arduino library. The idea is you plant an arduino in a glove and put an accelerometer in the palm and fingers of the glove so that you can manipulate the Raven Interface with simple hand gestures.

This project is stalled because: I need to accumulate funds for the accelerometers. The practical application of this project: I don't know...uhhhh...you could move files...but like...I don't know...casting a spell? The processing app below, is just stolen code with my own texture added, nothing special yet, like I said, work in progress. Code stolen from: http://processing.org/learning/3d/texturecube.html
